Thanks for sharing @Oaktavia. The thing that surprised me a little is that he simply didn't know high end heavyweight denim was an option or even existed. He talked about getting his jeans at the Buckle, and simply asking them for their thickest jean. He nodded when I discussed denim weight, but I'm not sure he completely understood. Anyhow I hope he joins us on the forum soon and falls in love like yours did.
Dustin if you reading this later, no offense, I'm just glad you're here.

Yes, this is just brilliant @steelworker! Where is this picture taken? And do you mind if I use it in my teaching?

Just did some research–apparently the pic is a hoax: https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2013/08/facebook-fauxlore-kerouac-burroughs-and-a-fight-over-the-oxford-comma-that-never-was/278452/
Still a bloody good story, and really great for giving some color to my classes on grammar and style.

Added an IRON TO THE BONE patch to my beater Baltimore Ravens hat. Used the trusty dental floss punk rock method of my youth. It's crooked, sloppy and just how I like it. I have another patch in a different color that my friend will be machine sewing onto my Lefty trucker in a much neater fashion.

I actually put a hole in one of my 14oz IH hoodies while working at the house on the weekend. I was filled with despair until I remembered the hoard of patches I have to fix it.
Love the punk rock stitching. I too was a fan of that method from being a 14 year old metal head all the way to being a 20 year old crusty.

It's interesting to me how many of us here have an appreciation for the same types of things and music here.

@Seul when I was in high school I traded a .22 pistol for a red, white, and blue back patch of that same image and got suspended from school shortly there after. They came to a comprise and made me put tape over the F word.
