Introduce Yourself Here

Hello, I made my mind and officialized my presence on this forum. I'm a new member to you but I've been stalking the forum since my first IH order in 2017.
I've been in denial since then, order after order, trying to convince me it wasn't so bad, luring myself into believing that I could stop anytime.
Yesterday was the day I accepted myself as I am, an IH addict, so I decided to finally create an account on the forum. I mean I drink my coffee every morning into a IH forum mug, and own some IF forum tshirts…About me : Born and raised in France, moved to Canada 10 years ago. Photographer and aspiring musician.
Special power : answering emails from IH staff in bed when waking up, and realizing after my coffee that my English skills don't wake up at the same time I do. Kuddos to IH for their ability to understand such emails.
One of us…one of us...

First time poster, relatively long time buyer and lurker.
Bought into Iron Heart in 2017, after drooling over studio shots. Receiving and opening my first brown bag, the clothing inside was absolutely unreal - unlike anything I’d bought before. I fell in love then and there, and I soon replaced nearly everything I owned with an Iron Heart variant.
I’ve made costly mistakes along the way, trying different cuts until finding what worked for me, having to sell pieces on etc., but I’m sure everyone here has had that.
Truth be told, I’ve tried to hold off on purchases for a little while. You get what you pay for, and Iron Heart is the dog’s bollocks for quality… and I have poor impulse control. I convinced myself that I could substitute things with different, cheaper (still decent) brands. Yeah, you can… but you’ll never be happy having to settle for second or third best.
I have a firmer idea what I like, what fits, what I already have, what I don’t need, so on and so forth now.
The wife knows of my expensive tastes, and she’s understanding while also keeping me in check. She knows what’s inside those green mailer bags now...

Thanks @neph93
I say “understanding”, she is, but… She doesn’t know about every purchase

Hi This is Sam in Japan. I haven't posted for A long time. I missed the Purple Rain UHF in Gosport. But I just snagged the last size L from the Hatchioji store in Tokyo. Yahoo! So happy! And I feel so lucky. Now I guess I have all I need to last me a lifetime. Jeans 634S 21, 666S 21, 888OD 21, Jacket IHJ 69 Khaki, Denim shirt IHSH 33, and now the Purple Rain! I also have a great Type 2 Denim Jacket by Samurai Jeans in Japan, my wife found in a recycle shop. Lucky guy.

I have a question for Giles. Why am I the unwoven? I came to the Gosport HQ two summer ago, and met Giles and the gang.

@TSG… This should explain
-
Thanks, that sure does explain it.

@TSG:
… Now I guess I have all I need to last me a lifetime.
I remember the first time I had that thought
Now I know I’m addicted to it.
Welcome back.

Hey there,
I am a new forum member, based in Berlin/Germany. Happy to be here!Got sucked into the Iron Heart world 2-3 years back, but recently have been buying IH almost exclusively. I've gone through most raw denim brands you can think of, wondering why it took me so long to arrive at their wonderful 21oz denims recently. Even more than with slacks, I find that IH delivery superior quality and bang for buck when it comes to shirting. I'm a sucker for UHFs and denim westerns.
Lastly, my feet seem to have "changed" in recent years: that being said and considering the above, I have a whole heap of "other brand's" shirts and denims to sell, as well as 8 or so pairs of Red Wings and some other high quality, Goodyear welt boots.
I am wondering if it would be okay to create a post for that in the marketplace here? Only selling my much loved, used items in great condition. Some of the jeans have been hemmed.
Would appreciate your feedback very much. Hoping to find like-minded people here, where my pieces will be in good hands.

I knew it.. I fed the plague….
On a side note, can we see this essay on Pokémon? Is it like a “cultural appropriation of Japanese youth culture for secular America capitalist regimes” type essay, or more like “squirtle is better than chamander because of ZYZ” type essay?

I’m actually surprised so many PHD candidates google “how to pay for PhD thesis essay”
I feel like I could have finished my MBA after all [emoji1787]

My thesis took me years to write. If I just used this service, I could’ve graduated so much sooner! And there would’ve been Pokémon in my thesis, too. Can’t believe I’ve wasted so much time.

I suspect most PhD theses would be improved through discussions of Pokemon…
