Cheer for P

A short tribute to my Mum, Brenda Woodward, born 3/3/33, died 25/11/2020 (poignantly, 70 years to the day she married our dear and long-departed Dad).
It may seem strange to post in the Cheer for P thread, but whilst this is sad news we are grateful that she left us with so many happy memories. She was a caring, eccentric, generous Mum who filled our lives with love and fun and created a close and loving family, for which I am so grateful.
Paul, her partner of 30 years, her four daughters (Lisa, me, Sara and Rachel), her son (Mark), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss her enormously.
Most of you reading this will know that my brother Mark is in hospital too, very ill with Covid pneumonia. So, whilst we mourn Mum, all our hopes and prayers are for his recovery.

Thank you all very, very much for lovely words about Mum, she will of course live on in our heads and our hearts.
The news on my brother has become slightly more positive over the last 18 hours or so. He's definitely not out of the woods yet, but they are managing him to take him off the CPAP mask occasionally and giving him oxygen through a high-flow nasal feed, back on the mask as soon as his blood oxygen level drops as he tires. He's eaten a small amount for the first time in about 2 weeks. Naturally, my sisters and I are obsessing about every tiny detail, and it was really great to get some good news.
Much love to all x
