Inspiring and annoying
I saw them at a squat in Ghent in the early oughties… With Newborn... Typical fights: crusties throwing beer at SxE bands... Yelling to "shut up and play" during political speeches... I actually apologised to Zoli outside for the crusties, cause I felt bad... But everyone united during Catharsis... I loved Samsara and Passion... Split with Gehenna as well... And the split CD they did with Newspeak...

I was full on sxe vegan, anarchist activist at that stage, and I spent a good couple of hours talking to Brian at a show they played in Brighton. He really lives it as he speaks it to, to this day. The energy that those albums captured during the recording was incredible.

I bought some soldering stuff in January and now I build my own guitar pedals. So much fun!!! I love to clone my HM2, but my Clone is much better.

Not so much a music video but a short video about an artist's story so I thought I'd post here. This one hits close to home cause not only is he from my city but he's from the same part of Phx I grew up in, just a few miles away. I have a friend who know's him and his family but I've never met him. Inspirational to say the least.

@JCMx800 fellow death metal fan? HM2s are synonymous with it, but I guess you know that
Of course
I'm actually quite surprised how many death metal fans there are on this forum. It's been ages since i've listened to this genre but I was a fan back in the 90's when that scene became popular. Good stuff

@gaseousclay oh it is very much alive and well…
some of the better known recent death metal bands, but all have a nod to the classic era
