Mid Size vs. Long Wallets

Hey all,
I was hoping to get some feedback/photos of the difference between mid and long wallet sizes as they are in the back pocket?
I have a Wild Child wallet that I'm currently sporting, but it is a standard size, and is hidden completely within my back pocket. I was looking to get something that stuck out a bit from my back pocket, and was looking for some guidance on which I should go for.
Perhaps this makes my decision easier seeing as the long wallet is currently extinct, but if the mid size has the effect I'm looking for, those are available and I'll go for that instead of waiting (possibly for a long time).

Generally speaking a mid size will just be visible in your pocket, wheras a long wallet will stick out an inch or two, but this is also dependant on pocket size. I use IH's cordovan mid on an everyday basis. Here it is in the back pocket of a pair of W34 555-03
It's maybe that you want more wallet showing than is normal with a mid.When it comes to wallet choice, price point makes a difference. There are lots of good or very good wallets at reasonable prices. The truly, over the top, ridiculous, great wallets cost.
Materials are important too. I was inbetween TFH long and the IH mid but decided I didn't want a wallet that would pick up a shit ton of indigo. Also the burgundy shell cordovan is such an amazing colour. I've had mine a year now and love it.
