^And that"s answered my question whether I should check JOHN WICK 2… Absolutely love the first'un...
John Wick 2 is excellent. They've really added a lot to the whole mafia org and it works very well. I like it better than JW1.
I liked both John Wick movies but felt as though JW2 wasn't any different than the first one, so if you were to put them back to back it's like you're watching the same film.

I saw Atomic Blonde last week. It's fun, the action scenes are very good, but the plot might be lacking a little. It's less cartoony than John Wick, Charlize doesn't gun down hordes of goons, but she does take more of a beating through the film.
If the idea of Charlize Theron wearing either 1980s fashions or very little, and punching a bunch of people appeals, go see it.
I went along to see Logan Lucky today. It's definitely worth catching, being a redneck version of something like Oceans 11. It's got a great cast, and I particularly liked Daniel Craig as Joe Bang, a camp safe-cracker.

Not sure in what order I want to watch all this depressing stuff…
COME AND SEE (just Google it if you haven't heard of it, this and SON OF SAUL are thé two WWII/ camp movies you have to see)
GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS FACTUAL SURVEY: this is not the complete documentary made by Hitchkock and Bernstein in 1945, as it's actually called MEMORY OF THE CAMPS, which is a shorter version of the original… Of course the original was never aired, which is why I'm also downloading NIGHT WILL FALL, the documentary about SURVEY and why it never was aired...
I guess after all that madness, THE PIANIST will feel like relieve...
Night will fall is really good. One of the better docs I've seen on that topic.

Finally watched Matrix Reloaded. That's 2 hours of my life I want back ::)

I tried watching Star Wars: A New Hope with my boy the other night and didn't get very far. Usually if it's not cartoon related he quickly loses interest. Didn't help that the version we tried watching was the butchered version with the added cgi Jabba scenes. So glad Lucas isn't making any more Star Wars films

All I want is the theatrical release versions of Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return Of The Jedi in a remastered, high definition format. I'll gladly give them my money and then go back to ignoring every half-assed, money grubbing POS Lucasfilm has put out since 1984.

This will get you started. It's genius.

Decided to watch It Comes At Night last week. It stars Joel Edgerton and he appears to be channeling his inner Kurt Russell from The Thing. It's a post-apocalypse film about some plaque but is incorrectly advertised as a horror film. Plus, the title of the movie is misleading. The movie was ok but not great.

Watched Trainspotting 2 lastnite and found it meh, other than to cash in on the popularity of the first film. I like Danny Boyle's work and I like the actors but it did nothing for me.

I must have a fondness for watching pointless drivel. I finally saw Transformers: The Last Knight and went in with very low expectations. As such, the movie really did suck, so I didn't feel as bad afterward. But, after watching this movie i'm really starting to suspect that Michael Bey has no concept of storytelling or in keeping with coherent characters. Awful, awful film. ???
