Do you use Special camera Settings or lenses? I wish I could take such great Pictures, but I Need a certain distance with my current camera to get a focused Picture.

@Max Power There´re some lenses you can do both with (standard pics and macro shots) and there´re special marco lenses.

Thank you. A Special macro lense is out of my Budget, yet it annoys me that my old camera did a better Job than my current one, although both have zoom lenses (18-55 and 18-105). I just need to keep a certain distance to the object to get a focused picture now, and that makes it impossible to get such close shots as above. Sorry for derailing, you can delete it if it's inapprobriate.

@Max Power I am using my old Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 100/2,8 L IS USM Macro 1:1
I am super happy with the lense but as I mentioned I need a tripod.
