IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Thanks @Oleg. I was reading through the Care thread and probably should have posted there, but wanted specific input on the 25oz. Greasing the patch is a great bit of advice! I would love to get 2" in the waist and maybe 1/3" in the leg opening but I am probably asking a lot.

@Haddtoo 555 thank you. Getting another pair seams the best solution

@Haddtoo 555 @Oleg I tend to think I will end up with a new pair in the fall. I guess the one down side to getting healthier is having to replace much loved IH pieces. I'm going to see what kind of shrink I can get out of these and will do pics and measurements for posterity. Thanks guys

Boil and dry the them britches. Just cut that patch off, your kill if you don't. Let's see before and afters !
To your health

I encourage you to get another pair that fits and keep the current pair in good condition in case you put on the weight again. I'd hate to see you cut off the patch, boil the jeans, and then put them in a dryer. Seems blasphemous to treat them that way. You can always sell them later if you don't mistreat them too much. Just my opinion.

That's his plan….and try to shrink his current pair.....when your hellbent.....

They look better on you

@Oleg I would like to know this too. Where can you send them to get tapered?
-
The fit…. The way he fills them out is just perfect

Finally! After two weeks of staring at the XHS's hanging in my closet I was able to get them hemmed. Jay at Blue Owl here in Seattle did a pristine job as always. He brought out the hammer when working on the hem which is a rare occurrence. It's in the high 70's here so I expect to be quite warm wearing these around. Gotta sacrifice the ride for the look, although I'll probably hold off on combining with the IHxVS-T1-DD I'm picking up today from UPS.
