My TW Shirts arrived yesterday. DPD mailed me to tell me the aproximate time when they will be there and made the anounced 1 hour timeframe. Since I was at work they droped the parcel at the store right next to our house and notified me about it via e-Mail.
The only negative thing I can say is, that I did not find any paper notification in the mail box, but since they also mailed me that it was delivered to the neighbor and to which neighbor that is no big deal.

Very fast and reliable delivery by DPD in Germany. Although they predicted arrival on Tuesday it came today (Saturday). Very pleased, thank you @Madame Buttonfly for the fast shipping and thank you @Giles for the wonderful garments! Cheers!

Is the DPD test phase for german customers finished?
My actual order from yesterday was shipped via UPS … (blessedly)Have no idea why yours was shipped UPS, a lucky glitch I guess!
UK Interlink feedback has been very positive, I think most UK customers would be happy if we continue to use Interlink as the default shipper.
German DPD feedback has been mainly positive, but not entirely - some German customers would prefer we used UPS.
Interlink/DPD offer the same service (notification of 1 hour delivery slot) in most other European countries, so we will probably try them for some other European orders. Pricing is actually very similar to UPS - some countries would be a few $ more, some a few $ less, but I have to reiterate that whilst we are extremely happy with UPS we wanted to see if we could offer an enhanced tracking and delivery experience in Europe, this is honestly not about the cost.
So, for the time being, we will continue to DEFAULT to Interlink/DPD for UK and Germany. And we're happy if you tell us in the comments field that you want us to ship UPS instead.
And please remember, if you haven't already, sign up for UPS MyChoice http://www.ups.com/mychoice/ (which is now operational in most European countries) for control over your deliveries via UPS (if that's your preferred carrier).

That'd be @Madame Buttonfly , she was not really firing on all 4 yesterday…...

Whoops… sorry @Seul

O.k. - the last UPS Shipping was very unpleasant. (And I praised that Company recently) ::)
2 days from South Coast England to my hicksville in Bavaria - Kudos! -
and 4 more days to get the package (No delivery on Weekend [ o.k. - that's fact ] + a stupid / lazy Parcel guy who don't ring my doorbell on Monday [ I was at home! ] and transfered my stuff rather to the next access point) … Damn dickhead!
Now I'm in suspense for the DPD transactions. :-\ -
… and my newest order from yesterday was also send by UPS. ??? ... I live in Germany!
Whatever - the label of the parcel company is utterly secondary for me.
Hopefully, this time all goes well.@Finkster - after recent posts about your preference for UPS I deliberately sent your order via UPS not DPD (and we did have some issues with the DPD online system yesterday), so fingers and toes crossed that this time UPS works well. Will happily give you the DPD experience on another occasion

Shipping with Interlink worked out fine.
It took five workdays though (incl. Sat.) which is more on the longer side, right?

Yes, that sounds like longer than UPS would normally take.
So please remember, if you're ordering from mainland Europe and have a preference for UPS (or DPD) please state in the order notes - we should be able to give you the choice (sorry, not Switzerland, DPD charges an extra $40 approx customs clearance charge per delivery!)
For the time being, we'll continue to default to DPD for UK and Germany, but we can use for some other countries if anyone wants to give it a try.
