Snowy, it's nothing special at all. A breville that I bought a couple years back when I didn't consider things as much. But it sticks around as it is fairly easy to clean, gives a fairly consistent grind and isn't plagued by static buildup like many other lowish priced electrics.

I have a Barazta that I like, a conical electric burr grinder, but it has stainless and not ceramic burrs.

Which hand grinders have all ya'll picked up in the last 6-9 months or so? Do Knock's Hausgrind get up? Is Lido 2 all the rage? Did something smash them both up? Always filter beans, of course.
I'm averaging a hand grinder every 1.5 years, with a RRP of between $30-60, so if it's $200-300 it's going to have to last at least a few years and or be more consistent with the grind….
Purchased the Lido 2 today after reading MANY reviews on the extremely bad customer service by Knock. A lot of people are having to start paypal disputes to get a reply to their e-mail, and often then it's still hit or miss if it'll ship or a refund.

Lido looks nice. Might get one of those if mine ever stops working.
Just came across this beauty. V60 in Copper. Kettle is nice too but I use an electric one. Def need to get one.

I'll let you know how it goes and compare against the Hario I've got at the mo. I figured $300AUD isn't too much to spend on something I'll used daily considering I drop more than that on clothing I wear once a week.
Love those copper V60's.
Does anyone here do the Wave? Not that I'm looking @ changing methods for at least another year, however, haven't heard of 'real' people using it..

I just use a Porlex hand grinder, but to be honest, every couple of weeks when I "re-up" I tend to ask them to just grind the beans for me :S
Tempted by a Baratza but I drink more in work so the having the ground done by the supplier is a lot easier… Maybe if I ever work from home I'd get one.

Did a pourover of this delicious bean just to make sure, then Toddied her up for tomorrow morning.

Excellent. I look forward to hearing our thoughts on it.

I did pop it out and lunch, and I do have a few photos I'll get up later. For now, I will say it was worth every cent. The consistency of particle size and ability to adjust the grind is OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Added it was about 1/2 the time of all other grinders to grind the same amount of beans.
I'm sold big time, and not that I think I will ever need another grinder considering it's all steel/perspex, however, I would buy again!
