Left Field NYC

mine are a xl & they are pretty big (in the next few weeks i'm gonna make it to their shop to try on a pair in L), might be surprised with what can work, but i will admit it is a huge gamble for some expensive sweat pants . . . .
when i go to the shop i'll voice your concerns seanocono -
Haha. Thank you, kind sir.
Based on measurements, they are definitely shorter in the inseam and more narrow through the thigh than my IH jeans. I'm not concerned about the waist, and I know it will stretch, but I can't do the sweggings look.
If you guys keep posting pics I may just have to roll the dice, though.

i thought the same thing, but the material behaves a lot diff to denim . . . but i hear you.
send the left field dude an email, & tell him what you need, you might be pleasantly surprised & then we can get more flicks in here, hahahahahaha
oh & their chinos are better than any i've ever bought from any company. the fit & materials are top shelf & if you catch them during a sale or in the seconds section you can not beat them. for a bit i thought i would have to retire from wearing jeans to work & these were going to be my leg wear of choice.

the LFNYC guys are dope…super fast response on emails and always happy to help out their (future) customers.
def. going to order more from them in the near future!and about the sweatpants...they're def. stretchy and the waist of my LARGE is def. too big.
thinking about adding a rubber band (though i already know that i'm not going to do it!)what are your thoughts? from the image they look a bit more fitted than my pair, not a bad thing, but not sure it's something i could pull off.
think i might try to make an honest effort to go to their brick & mortar shop so i can try on a smaller size & see what other goodies they have. i love their non-denim bottoms . . . but need to check out their tees & other goodies.
my thoughts…i'm really in love with them. normally i'm no sweatpants guy at all (always denim or no pants s o far, hahaha)
like stated above, the waist stretched like crazy and i always need to tie it thight so they stay up. also i'd like a 1-2" hem...always stepping on the back of the hem when wearing them without shoes. the rest is dope though. love the pockets and the overall feel of them...a nice piece of art right there! -
@monday I got dibs on those, after you buy them in large

what up finn, love the mister rogers sweater with sweats, but would change the go fast shoes to something less matchy:
i know i'm a weirdo but hears my question. . . does anyone think the rise is kind of low on these? i love them, but the rise . . . .oh i don't think i'm gonna size down, the images above are after their second wash & they fit comfy & kind of sort of fitted without having me walking around with my nuts all strapped to my leg. comfy & looks good, what more could you really ask for

I like the looks of these but they are too damn short…

^I will measure mine later, but they are a lot longer than the measurements indicate. Like A LOT longer. My complaint with these is the elastic is basically nonexistent. Someone had clearly tried on my pair at BiG before they sent it to me, because the waist is at least 4" larger than the quoted measurements. It's almost comical. I haven't had the time to try a hot wash and dry, but if that fails, they will be sold and replaced with some RMCs.
Selling would be a shame because the color is great. They are nowhere near as heavy or dense as the IHSW material, though. Indigo-dyed IH sweatpants is still the dream.
Also, my previous concern about the slimness of the leg was unwarranted. I have some serious thunder thighs and no issues here.

Summer is full in affect here. So grabbed two lightweight raw pairs, one is from LF, 10oz)deadstock light blue selvedge.
http://leftfieldnyc.com/products/deadstock-10-oz-japanese-light-blue-greaser-jeancan't really find a lot of lightweight jeans that aren't looking like what I already have.
Can't wait to get them this week.

Will do, supposed to be here tomorrow
They are also pretty low on stock, depending on your size.

Just got em, wearing them, they are awesome. The texture, the look, feel and weight is AWESOME. I never had such light denim. Good amount of character, it is smooth denim and breathes beautifully.
I will get some pics up asap.
