Mikec makes a great point. Supreme shit is not made well at all. I have a hat and a Levi's/supreme type 2, that's it. There shit is way hyped. I understand it was a school skateboard shop at one time and they are great at marketing (terry Richardson), but their shit is Hanes quality
-
Its def all in the "marketing" plus the fact that everything is in limited quantities. My buddy has a ton of their shit and the only stuff that seems "semi-nice quality" are their collabs. Dudes buy like 10 of one item that just came out and then sell em on forums and ebay for 2-3x retail (easy $ for some)
-
Supreme's knitwear is made by the same company that makes Wings+Horns, Reigning Champ and a few other brands. It's made in Canada and it's top notch. Most of their other stuff is just made in China shit with ugly logos on it.

Read this article on supreme yesterday, breaks down how they create the hype quite well -

Fucking Z comes through in the clutch once again. Seriously the best dude on the forum and not because he sells clothes to me. He is just straight up the most genuine dude you could come across. Thank you my friend!

Looking good Jeff, and echoing your Z love
I bought a ton of Supreme for a long time. Back in the beginning it was just about them being a label that skaters knew about, so it was cool for the NY skate scene association. These days it is a fully fledged fake ass hype brand.
Over the years they have made some really well designed stuff, their Wtaps collars were great quality too, but Supreme is not a high end heritage or denim brand and never has been, so to label them with the kind of shit we expect from brands in this market is just wrong in my opinion. They are not a high end Japanese denim brand so do not expect this level of quality.
Urb is 100% correct on the knits too, the box logo hoodie is still one of the best made hoodies I have ever owned.
