IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
Looks great lucky, these are seriously my favourite jeans in the whole world after just a week of wearing them, I don't think I could ever wear another fit after finding the one that suits me so perfectly and comfortably.
Although I always have this problem in my raws where I get feck all combs behind my left knee and crazy good ones behind my right…

Hi Guys,
I have a pair of 666s 32" that have now been worn for a couple of weeks and i'm trying to gage if there is any shrinkage left.
They have had a initial a warm soak and a machine handwash (no spin) @ 30 to give some agitation and apart from the length i didn't really get much other shrinkage
Current measurements are (IH way)
666s - Tagged 32"
Waist 17"
Front Rise 10.5"
Rear Rise 14.5"
Thigh 11.6
Knee 8.5"
Hem (@ 32.5" leg) 8.2"
For reference original leg length i got to 35.25" with a 7.85" hem opening
Seem to have stretched in the topblock and are hanging off my skinny butt.Any shrinkage left if i did a hotter wash?

Hello!
I have been looking at the Iron heart products for quite some time now.
I have fallen in love with both the 666 and 634.
It was hard to decide between the two but I have come to the conclusion that I will get the 666S model. I can always buy the 634 model later on.But I got one problem.
Sizing.I currently use a pair of Edwin ED49 rainbow selvage in size 32. They fit me great directly after I washed them but after a few wears they stretch quite a bit.
I have heard that Edwin varies in waist size quite a bit and got vanity sizes. Got a pair of Nashvilles size 32 (31 would probably fit me better) as well and they are bigger then my ED-49.I use a Tanner goods standard belt size 34 in the middle hole.
Anyone here who has any personal experience with the Tanner goods standard belt or the Edwin ED-49 or Nashvilles that could help me out so I get the "right" size for my 666S order.

After getting minimal shrinkage from two hot soaks, I did a hot wash with Woolite Dark (no spin cycle) and got the inseam down to 37." I still would like to get another inch of shrinkage out of these, so I might try a final hot wash before giving up and sending these to be hemmed. Does anyone know if Woolite Dark is a good "lubricant" to use, or should I go with a "normal" detergent?
I love so many things about these jeans, except for the "bagginess" around the lower leg/ankle area. I really wish they tapered a bit more. I'm hoping that shrinking to 36" and throwing on a 2" cuff (vs. hemming) will help with this.

I sorely need that green chambray in my life.

Would love a pair of these in 36

Hey everyone,
first post here. And I already have a question: I bought my first pair of IHs (also first pair of raw denim) yesterday. Now, after the soak the 666S in 29" fits a little tight but after it stretches out I guess it will be pretty much perfect.
The only thing that has me scratching my head is the front pockets. I can't get my hands into them… or rather, it takes quite a bit of wiggling my hands to get them in there, and then it's not very comfortable. Will this stretch out a bit after some use?
-
They should stretch out, but it may take a while and be painful if you want to fit your whole hand in the pocket.

Sorry for the shitty glare, but this will give you a better idea on the fit. When I got into IH, I thought I was a waist 36 with a 13.5 thigh. Boy was I wrong. These are a 34 with a 12.3 thigh. I can prob do 12 for the thigh, but that would be pushing it. I understand that some of you have large thighs due to lifting or cycling, but I think people should try shit out before they say it doesn't fit. This is my vote for the best design to come out of IHUK.

Thanks! That's reassuring. I already feared I'd have to make do without any front pockets. And a little pain while breaking them in will be well worth it, because the fit is spot-on for my (pretty slim) frame.
The fit looks very good on you too, MikeC!

I had the same thing, now after a good solid month of wear, the pockets are all good. I found them very tight on the thighs after the soak but they've also loosened up. Slowly beginning to get comfortable.
