IH-666L - The Devil's Left Hand
-
I think a 634 cut in this denim would make my head explode.
-
Heh I just noticed there's a Post label on the calico
-
I've considered it very strongly but the thigh is going to be cutting it REAL close. I'd be interested to hear personal experience with the stretch in that area on this denim of anyone has had any.
-
Davito got me thinking…. I wish there was a damn store like VMC or something close where I could try these on. MIDWEST USA blows.
Does anyone have a post soak measurement on a size 30 they would mind sharing?
-
Definetly considering this idea. Thanks giles. Hopefully some measurements will be posted to push me over.

Agree with Tat, midwest U.S. is a wasteland as far as buying premium denim - and lots of other stuff too for that matter. But I understand the market for these products is small. But I still think if more people could see/touch/try on and compare IH products to the usual crap they buy/own, it would sell.
-
Well if IH ever wants a stockist in the gold mine that is the Twin Cities (lowest unemployment of any major US city, big economy, lots of moneyed people that I think appreciate quality goods) I can think of several possibilities to try out.
-
I could measure my sample pair with about 4 months or so of wear later on, I think g's original measurements are floating around to compare
-
We have a "premium" denim store with Stronghold and some others but they don't seem to sell anything well in store. A lot of good denim on clearance quite often.

Yup, the midwest is pretty bare in terms of real denim… it's a shame really- we are home of the farm belt, an awful lot of manufacturing, and I remember my dad telling me back in the day that if you buy quality, you buy once... and so I use Milwaukee power tools, Kleins hand tools, and I wear Iron Heart. Buy quality. Or at least that's what my dad always told me...

I remember hearing the same thing sacs kid growing up. You buy quality, you buy once. It's funny that that philisophy was the rule around here way back when but now when people ask me about My clothing their jaws hit the floor and they stare at me like I'm a lunatic for paying that price. I never begin with cost I a always start by talking about quality AND also discuss business ethics or lack of them used by 99% of the world (made that percentage up but I'm sure its close) who are contracting factories in third world countries and using child labor to manufacture goods resulting in catastrophes like the building collapse that killed quite a few a couple of months ago and how I refuse to pay into a company and support that lack of morale. As a matter of fact that conversation came up yesterday while tattooing s customer, when complaining about such lack of ethics, he looked at me and said,"yeah but what can you do?" He went on to inform me that is just the way the world is and there's nothing we can do about it as well as bragging that he had never spent more than "Thirtybucks" on a pair of jeans. I get it that some people aren't willing necessarily to pay what many of us do but what I don't understand is how people continue to support these companies who are basically exploiting poverty and for lack of better term basically killing people

Anyway back on topic. Has everyone bought these true to size and found they stretch back out easily? I'm gonna pull the trigger just making sure I'm think correctly as to sizing. Figure ill go with a 30 which should shrink to 29 and stretch back out to 30 or so fairly easily
