well how should i put this…
...today, a texan made my day!
(sounds weird for you Gav i know!)my brother called me and said there was a small envelope waiting for me. with knowing that i haven´t ordered/bought anything online in the last few weeks i really haven´t had a clue what that one could be.
the words "chris" and "houston" got me thinking even more tbh ^^ …openend the envelope and voila:thanks a ton Chris…this is unbelievable!
i sure owe you some (beers or anything else!) after this more than great gesture.
looking forward to meet you sometime in 2014 (i hope!)...thanks friend!

"Everything's bigger in Texas" applies to hearts too apparently

Everything but dicks, actually.
Trust me, some of the biggest dicks you could ever possibly meet are Texans.
-
Glad you got it and that it made your day, Rafa.

I was checking out at a bar downtown and was told a nearby table took care of our tab. The table was now gone and had done so quietly.
I had seen a blind woman and her guide dog get separated from her group and led her back to them. I guess the table saw this modest deed and decided to reward it. It felt good to be of service and good that people honor such small acts.

^ THAT is a great story!
I've done small things like, leaving a tip bigger than my bill for a waitress whom I had noticed waiting on a table next to me full of asshats who didn't leave her anything!

Snowy the Snow Man rules, for many things including doing some behind the scenes work on the HWDC which should be revealed soon. Definitely my vote for for IHF-MVP for the first half of 2013

Not sure if you've heard, but there's this brand of Japanese clothing called Iron Heart made by some obsessive maniac named Haraki and marketed internationally, with flair and outstanding service, by some limey named Giles. It's an expensive marque, but I've never felt a pang of regret whenever the goods arrived, because they are gorgeous and built to last. Let's just say that I feel like a kid at Christmas when the UPS man arrives with those magical blue bags.

Oooh teak furniture too. Lovely.
Now is the wall/barbed wire to keep the inmates in the asylum or the addicts out of it?
