I've only had great experiences here with the customer service provided by Jay. he has given me so much help with sizing and measuring that he pretty much won my customer loyalty forever

Ditto. The only place I trust to get my denim hemmed. Great pricing and the BOW point system is unmatched by anyone else in the biz. Now if only they would start selling IH…this brand monopoly B.S. that has infected this industry has gotta stop.. (walking away before angry rant begins...)

As far as I know, Giles and Haraki have nothing against Jay. Blue Owl carried Triple Works products previously, and could be doing so again. The reasons for the Self Edge/Iron Heart arrangement have been covered extensively, as Seul said.
I like Jay a lot and enjoy doing business with him. He is genuinely good guy and I highly recommend Blue Owl. I'm looking forward to seeing what his collaborations with Momotaro will be; I know he had some interesting ideas…

Just to clarify, I wasn't meaning to give Giles or anybody associated with Iron Heart a hard time. I was just venting at a general annoyance I have with the way business is done in the world of Raw Denim. It was my mistake for letting this thread get off topic.
As far as the Blue Owl x Momotaro Collabs, 2 of them are already out. The fit looks to be a little too skinny for my tastes but the Midnight Warrior jean is mighty tempting…

Yeah, I agree about the first two, but Jay has told me that his customers overwhelmingly prefer skinny cuts. He did say he was open to something more "traditional" in one of the next two (more like the 201 fit). We'll have to wait and see.

super old thread but in a search for something else, this came up to the top for me.
Wanted to also say that this shop has been great for me. Due to a mistake I made with the way I measured an inseam, I had a couple of pants hemmed to the wrong, too long, length. In a hurry that day I left without trying them on and wasnt able to get back for 2 months for various reasons.
Without any question they re-hemmed both pair in under an hour while I went and grabbed a coffee down the road and sent me on my way without an extra penny. Really solid of them. Moreso they were extremely gracious about the whole ordeal and didnt in the slightest make me feel bad for having them redo it.
Now, if they'd only start to carry IH….

Was looking for something else and came upon this thread, but felt I should add that I 1000% agree with the positive comments about Jay and BOW. I've spent quite a bit of money there over the years — absolutely fantastic customer service, super fast shipping, great points system. I've stopped shopping there as much over the past couple years, the sole reason being that they tend to favor quite slim/tapered silhouettes, while I've drifted over to more straight/wide stuff. I do regularly peruse the site though and love an excuse to pick something up and support em when I can. Top top notch folks.
