whcih size did you go with in the BR sweat?
XL. I know that Loopwheeled stretches and that it is supposed to be fitted more vintage sty;e but I feel like it fits pretty damn well. Hey if it stretches, I can always shrink it up again. Pics to come, I promise. I will put one up tonight even if this weather does not clear.

Nice pick up Seul! How come you will never wear it?

Hope you remembered to get ur Bape hoody and Crooks tee… hahahaha, I'm just teasing man. Not that huge of a fan of shoe collaborations nowadays, but shelltoes are always a solid choice. Still think the black on white would have been just as nice if not a tad better. But hey, as long as you're happy man.

^if you did you would have caught hell for it. lol. and i was just joshing.

Four new soles.
Picked up 2 pairs of boots from the cobbler yesterday with nice new shiny soles (I wore the RM Williams out in the rain last night, so thet're not so shiny and new any longer). The other pair I picked up from a Ralph Lauren outlet a few years ago, dunno who actually made them, but they're def English benchmade:

Wow! Super nice both of them. When you get new soles the best thing to do is to wear them on dry pavement for some time until they are roughed up. Then use the impregnation spray on them. Also some sole oil from time to time works wonders for the longevity, flexibility and waterproofing of the soles.

Lol..looks like Giles already has some experience wearing boots
Of course, he does. My comment was because he went out in the rain with a fresh pair of soles. That is something that should be avoided. I am well aware that one can get into a bad downpour without prior announcement easily, especially in England. But in general it should be avoided to prolong the life of the sole. Prolonging the life of the sole is a good thing even if they can be re-soled.

Need help ladies and gents…
I wasn't planning on getting anymore boots since I just recently picked up the Alden 403
until I walked into UnionMade SF yesterday and tried on the Mark McNairy Red Brick Sole boots.
Very lightweight, Goodyear welt, Captoe with the trademark red sole.[pictures deleted by the member]
Which one do you prefer?
I'm leaning towards the dark brown suede and I'm giving myself 2 days to decide. -
Damn arrow, Union Made has the Mark McNairy Brick Soles?!?! Fuck, I might have to take my check that just came in for a contracted job over there. It is quite sunny out in SF…
Edit: As for the Color Choice, I would go with the lighter one as the darker are too similar to your Alden's. But then again I am in love with both of them. Do they have the Blue Desert Boots w/ Red Brick Soles?
