Watches - another OCD problem

Nope, the winder fell off. It is in a sealed plastic bag in the safe with the rest of the watch waiting for me to save up enough to get it fixed….

You'll get used to it surprisingly quickly. My usual watch is a manual wind, and it's just part of the routine to wind it before putting it on in the morning. I think I've only forgotten to wind it once.

I'm ambivalent in how much sympathy to feel for you, Giles. Yes, it sucks to break the Patek, but a JLC is one hell of a backup. I think I could live with that one as a daily wearer.

it's really nice & a hell of a bang for the buck. i'll try to take a few more pictures tonight. really thinking about getting a beige face as well so i can switch them out. got a cheapo ~~deployment~~ deployant buckle & a few other straps to switch out to keep me entertained for a little bit
