I always wet the hands with water first then apply the soap, only wash after my bidness is done, and also after I dry my hands off I always keep the paper towel in my hand and use it to open the door on my way out so my bare hand isn't touching the handle. I figure all the work of washing your hands goes out the window as soon as you touch the door handle with bare hands.
A vast majority of the time a trash can will be located right by the door in any given restroom so after I've opened the door with paper towel in hand I use my foot to hold it open then toss the towel in the trash. If there's no trash can by the door I'll just keep it in hand and toss it in the next trash can I find.

I wet first. Also, I try to wash my hands before doing up my button fly. It just seems…respectful? I usually go either at home or at the office in a single bathroom, so it’s not a logistical issue.

You're now up in the 200s of "IHSH" numbers. In the early days, did you ever think you'd do this many shirt designs?

Anybody have any experience with waxing whipcord fabric / deck jackets?
I've got a Buzz Rickson N-1 I was thinking of beefing up but don't want to botch it if it's a bad idea from the outset. Otter Wax?
I've seen a bunch of other brands (pike brothers, freewheelers) offer their deck jackets waxed…

I waxed my old Gustin trucker with otter wax and would not recommend it. I used their bar and heat gun and it didn’t come out so well. Oh and it really stinks.

Exactly the kind of discouragement I was looking for!
Just saved me both time and money…Keep in mind that I used a bar of Otter Wax on my already waxed Gustin trucker jacket, which is significantly cheaper than BR or IH. I'm sure there are some people out there that have had success waxing their jackets with Otter Wax but I personally wouldn't do it on an expensive piece. Mine turned out really sh*tty. Even though I used a heat gun a lot of the wax didn't melt as well as I would've liked, especially in the seams of the jacket, so there's wax residue on areas of my jacket. I know some people use melted wax and 'paint' it on to get better distribution/penetration. I'd check youtube. There might be other alternatives to Otter Wax.

Just saved me both time and money…I’ll chip in with this, unless the jacket is canvas/duck I’d certainly leave well alone. Duck is a 1x1 weave that gives a relatively flat surface. The wax does well on this. Whipcord and the like is a twill weave that gives a uniform patterned surface. Getting an even layer of wax on it is a non-starter.

+1 here…I had a pretty bad experience waxing my LC King chore jacket (which was duck). I watched a few videos online and they made it look so easy.
I ended up pretty much ruining my chore jacket and wasted a bunch of time trying to wax and then fix. Its something I guess I will leave to the professionals
