what's wrong with itunes @Cole ? i find it a breeze to use..
It drives me crazy every time I need to transfer something to the iPods (old iPhones) of the kids and is generaly the most unintuitiv thing ever created, if you are an old Windwos-Explorer-Whore like me.

i had a go in the apple store. absolutely love the new home button. though i've to wait a little while for a jet black 7plus..

None too impressed by the new MBP range, even before I saw the price. Maxing out at 16GB doesn't seem very pro to me…?

My other half just got the 13" Macbook Air today, same specs as the new price but at last week's rrp. I need to update my Mac-Mini and Macbook Air 11" to one higher spec Macbook Pro, but the new offerings don't really do it for me. I think I'll try and hang on until the next iteration and see if they get any better (or cheaper!). I might go SSD for the Mac Mini to give it a little boost for the next year.
Also, I bent my iPhone 6 Plus! Gutted… It's going to cost about £100 to get a new back fitted. Still, two years in and it's still working.

Gonna have to keep my Mid2012 MBP going for a while longer, otherwise it'll mean going back to the dark side (Windows) as PCs now seem to be a long way ahead when it comes to 'bang for your buck'.
@michaeljcr Unlucky! Did you sit down with it in your back pocket?

Sounds like a plan, although I can't myself going purely Windows. I have Parallels on my Mac and an older Lenovo ThinkPad, but I really want to get to just one machine.
Re: the bendy iPhone, I've no idea what happened. I just noticed it one day. I have insurance, but there's a £100 excess, so I might as well just get it fixed. Makes me sad looking at it though.

Check out https://elementary.io/ if you want a Mac (ish) experience on non Apple hardware.

i'm no sure if i'm ready for usb-c yet. been holding off a new macbook pro for the past couple years waiting for a refresh and now this but without hdmi and sd card ports. my current lineup doesn't have a hdmi or retina screen..

I'm going to keep on the mac train. I don't think I'll need to upgrade for a while tho. SO getting good bang for buck. A 2012 laptop going strong in 2016 is pretty good!
Still rocking my ´09- Its on its second charger, the CD-drive has been replaced by storage and the battery wont impress anyone- but it still gives a better day-to-day usage experience then my new work-lenovo.
The mac isnt fast by todays standard and gets killed with batch photo editing, video encoding etc, but for daily use it works just fine.Seemed expensive when i bought it, but its proved itself many times over..
It fell out of the update cycle recently, so will eventually need to be replaced. But the new 15" are steeply priced and this one will be run into the ground before i part with my cash again. -
on the hunt for a new iphone since mine "broke" on saturday -.-
the display showed that the iphone 6 was overheating and i couldn't do anything about it then to let it cool of.after i've wrapped it in some sort of plastic bag and placed it on top of some crushed ice (yeah i was a little bit drunk while doing it), i've picked it up 5min later and nothing worked…black screen all over the place.
took it to a dealer yesterday and he told me that some water got inside of it. screen stays black and nothing happens when i press the buttons.
put it into a bag of lose rice the last day but yeah...don't hoping for much ^^so what to get next? an used iphone 6s looks like the best thing for now...they're still around 480-550chf though
