From my experience with denim
Over the years
These are my opinionsSoak or 🧼 wash when you want to. When it dirty not time by scale
I have learnt that doing this on a good hot day.
Where as the denim dry very quickly
While it sunbatheI did this with my pronto jeans on a hot day. I was like wow. That’s how I learned this one
Washing and soaking on a cold day has a darker affect as in the colour is dull. So the heat has the opposite.
The brush is to use shake the indigo after this method I used after couple month not at the very first soak.
What i did over 4 months.
Soak it first before wearing it.
Let it air dry it self.Just worn it for 4 months.
Yesterday was warm and hot.
So did a lukewarm soak. For 30 mins and brush it.Now looking at the jacket, you thinking I wear it all the time.
I don’t, only working maximum of 4 hours Monday to Friday.
But then you need do some kind of activities to achieve.
I reckon I will do third soak in July or August on a very hot day
Using the same method as the second soak.
Washing am gonna hold off now.

@Kasi Mo after the wash the overall jacket looks like it’s lightened up . Mine looks really dark in comparison.
After a few washes with mine, the dark darks are still there, just in fewer places. Overall it has lightened up after third wash and especially with the color-safe bleach.
