Thanks a lot Davito! As I suspected, I need an XL. Doh!
Hi, my 2 cents: It depends on the fit you want.
I wear L or XL in IH shirts.
I first had a XL Buzz (new type) and found it too big for me. Wearable, but not the snug fit I was looking for.
I then got L which fits very well. -
slightly lower quality / more modern fit. For the price you'll be pleased.
-
Buzz A-4 Olive.
So soft. -
Picked up the black just in time. Major storm hitting mañana.
Happy with the fit and the details are outstanding.
-
I've got the Black William Gibson Cap on the way. Can't get a better cap for $50 that's for sure.
-
Just in time for the first big ass storm of the season.

Just picked up my first Buzz Rickson item. Loving the sweatshirt right from the get go.
Hey Summ
Thinking of getting a Buzz sweat but not sure of sizing. How did you size compared to IH? I'm an L in all things IH. Should I go L in this too? Thanks!Sorry man, I totally missed this post. My BR sweat is XL. I go between L & XL in IH. All my IH tees that fit are L.

Thanks for that Summ!
I'm a true L in most clothes. Was thinking more of an L. My shirts are all around 22 inch P2P. Bigger is possible but they look a bit less fitted. Whatcha reckon I should go for? Also, how do the Buzz and Strike Gold sweats compare? Thanks again mon ami! -
I would say there are two differences in the sweats. The BR fabric feels like a looser weave and has the loop wheeled horizontal look where the SG looks more uniform and substantial.
The second is the functional gusset. Big deal to some, but I'm not one to care either way.
-
It looks to me like the first one is functional and the second is just stitching in terms of the gusset. Or am I misreading you here?
You are so right about how the SG weave is. I'm not sure what they do but it doesn't have as soft a hand on the outside, seems like a tighter weave and as you mention less horizontal pattern, perhaps due to this tightness. One thing I can say is that it seems nearly impervious to gusts of wind.
-
That's true. I was saying that the second difference was the functional gusset on the SG vs the BR just being stitched.
