Rick & Morty has been strange. Episode 2 I thought was one of the best ones yet, and episode 4 the worst in the series by a long shot (though I did love the gag with a sated, "bad boy" Morty on the roof).
I'll have to wait for the wife to return home for Ted Lasso, but we both really loved S1.
I've been watching Alone, and I really really love it.

Just finished the entirety of Boardwalk Empire……wasn’t worth it.
Also I recently rewatched Generation Kill and still say that it’s the best “mini” series ever made.

So, this is not a new series, but "The Night Manager", with Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston is excellent! It's a modernized adaptation of a John Le Carre novel. Hiddleston plays a veteran, hotel night manager, and eventually spy / good guy. Hugh Laurie is the antagonist and plays an utterly charming and ruthless international arms dealers. It's like a 6hrs James Bond movie with all the corny aspects removed. It's awesome.

100’ wave is pretty decent.

Revisiting Breaking Bad top to bottom, might be my favorite series ever! SO good.
Season 2 of Ted L is off to a GREAT start!!
-
Agreed on both!
-
I'm just looking forward to the next season of "what we do in the shadows" or "the expanse". Baseball has been filling my time
-
I'm planning to sign up for another month of HBO to watch 100 foot wave and White Lotus.

Late to the party, but I really love Alone and Alone: The Beast.
For those who are unfamiliar, it's a reality show (normally I detest those) where the contestants see who can survive in the wilderness with limited tools. The last contestant standing gets $500k. The Beast is a bit different, where teams of 3 survivalists have NO tools and must use the corpse of a beast such as a moose to survive 30 days.
Fascinating stuff and makes me wish I had a mastery of bushcraft.
-
Damn @mclaincausey , where are you watching alone the beast?? I like the original but that sounds better
-
First off, Alone, beast edition sounds insane and I’ve got to find it. Don’t think I’ll be able to convince the wife to watch that one…
Joberwocky Im with you and love “what we do in the shadows”. Movie was one of my favorites and the series is great as well. Can’t wait for it come back.
We tried getting into White Lotus but didn’t love episode one. Does it get better?
-
@SKT yelling "Baaaaaat" or "human form" has become a mainstay in my household
-
@Joberwocky Hulu. It’s A&E instead of History like the original.
@SKT i failed to mention the best part: it’s in the Arctic at the start of winter. So lots of brown and black bears and wolves about in addition to the climate. I think Northwest Territories, Canada perhaps.
Which reminds me of another favorite survivalist show, Survivorman. Les Stroud at least used to live in Yellowknife. That show needs to join one of the streaming platforms.
