I like Rogue Territory. It's not bad but… well, it's not IH. Very hard to match the quality IH produces.
-
^ Agreed. I own five Rogue Territory shirts and really like them. However, if I compare their flannels to IH's and the difference in price that comes along with them there is absolutely no contest. I will pay $50-$60 more for an IH any day. There is just really no comparison in my opinion.

Awhile back I bought a Tellason cone denim shirt and while it was "OK" and I kept it, there is clearly no contest vs. my IH gear. Now I stick with what I know. Every IH garment I own is a work of art - fit, finish, details - very hard to find a reason to deviate once I figured this out. I had Pendleton heavy flannels before IH, which I ended up giving away - after I got some IH shirts, when deciding what to wear on a given day, the Pendleton shirts just never made the cut… Same with some carhart work shirts - total crap by comparison. I also like Mr. Freedom gear, which provides a bit of variety. Maybe I am biased - actually I'm sure I am!

OK, thanks, I just saw the 634-Paraffin-versions (18 and 21 oz) on the release timetable (https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1ygzvk408t9dg6/FW15 FF.xlsx?dl=0), which look updated, and hoped therefore for non-Paraffin-editions :D.

What do you mean by updated? Is the cut of the 634 being updated or something?
-
No, but people would like to see it with more selvedge detail and sewn in belt loops…...If we updated the cut it would get a new Lot Number....
Ah..I see. Thanks.
Back pocket linings would also be a nice standard feature.
-
I'm so not bothered whether we update the 634S though. It is what H dreamed up 12 years ago and deserves to stay what it is…....It aint really a bad jean......
Not disagreeing with you at all. I have the 21oz Indigo selvedge in the 634 cut, perfect straight leg fit IMO.

Can anyone shed some light on the Parrafin coating for the jeans please? I saw white jeans that had it on, but none others and was curious what this offered and how common a practice it is?
I guess it adds a little waterproofing and dirt resistance, and maybe makes them more rigid? Quite like the look of the denim with it applied.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

It is merely a paraffin wax coating. It offers water resistance and dirt resistance, it also makes the jean more rigid (so I have told you nothing you did not know yet).
It will wear off/out with time.
I do not know if they will be extant. And I will only stock them to specific request, I took the view that they were too specialised for my market…

Quick question. Will the snaps on the Maroon/Cream western flannel be pimpable?
