BikeEXIF has a write up on the El Solitario MC Big Bad Wolf, which is a relative of the Iron Heart XJ1300.
By the sounds of things it took no prisoners at Glemseck…
This XJR1300 now records 148 hp at the rear wheel, which lifts the power-to-weight ratio into sportbike territory. The Big Bad Wolf sits somewhere between the BMW S1000 RR and the Ducati 1299 Panigale.
Unfortunately it sounds as though its arch rival, the Sprint Beemer had a few issues on the day of the race. But here's a photo of the BMW anyway, because it's got the coolest fairing ever.
Edited to add: Just found a video of the showdown.

Triumph has just announced the new Bonneville range. The biggest change is that the bikes now have a 1200cc watercooled engine, and modern electronics such as ABS and traction control.
They also look rather good. My favourite is the Thruxton R with the optional Track Racer kit.
There's coverage at Visordown, and MCN has articles on the new Bonneville and Thruxton.

The black T120 is nice with the brown seat, few subtle tweaks and that could be a really nice bike.

I'm having bad ideas of running this high pipe on the Thruxton.
It'd end up a bit like this customised Ducati Scrambler, albeit more retro.
I agree that they're nice looking machines, and with the 160-odd aftermarket parts that Triumph are offering, they'll be easy to personalise. I also suspect that they'll be pretty quick, and could shock a few 600cc sports bikes.

i dont really like the ducati it looks a bit of a bitsa ,it doesnt really flow for me the best looking stock scrambler was the first gen triumph in my opinion

It looks like the Suzuki Recursion is coming.

Sorting your license out is a good thing.
There are rumours of a couple of new Scrambler models to be unveiled at EICMA in a about a week and a half. Ducati's press day is on 16th November.
Husqvana are also rumoured to be bringing a production version of their Svartpilen and Vitpilen concepts. I don't know if they'll appeal, but they're a different riff on a modern scrambler.

Been awaiting the actual 2017 release date of the Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen for a bit over a year now. If they can actually keep the production runs as close as possible to the aesthetics of the concepts, it would mean a whole new game for the latest killing the Scrambler game, which IMO, is pretty weak. It's unfortunate that it looks to be only around the 400cc displacement, yet at the same time, I would be very curious to see if it could be within my reach from a financial standpoint as I'd still be all over this bike like a fat kid on an open bag of Smarties!

So you haven't seen the spy shots of the 701 Café Racer with the 690 engine then?
Sorry @Giles I think that @activechild might be cutting back on IH purchases in the near future…

Ducati have posted a teaser video of the nine new models they're going to unleash on Monday…
It includes this shot of the upcoming Scrambler 400, which is being ridden along the beach in Gosvegas.
There are some more, poor quality spy shots of the baby Scrambler at Motociclismo.
