Champagne? Sounds intriguing @Cutlasshound , where did you get yours? I recently got my first pair of Trickers Stow in Brown Zug Grain and can't get over the quality of the boots. Excuse crappy pic

@tmg:
Good looking boots, did you blacken out the reflective panel at the back, or remove it? I'd be tempted to get a pair in brown but would need to figure out how to get rid of the reflective patch
Just blackened with boot polish.

^the 666 version - interesting to note yours don't show the same - wonder why…?
I've only soaked and washed mine once, so maybe it takes some time for leg twist to develop. I've only had them for a few days. Not sure…
Got mine from the first wash, weird… Maybe a slightly different denim/ production run or just the different jeans cut [emoji52]

These White's boots are new to me after a journey through the hands of both Megatron1505 and nicecrackaction.
The boots started out a different colour (1st image) but now they are a new colour (second image)

^good to see the Armageddon Boot saga continue
Walked into a Timberland outlet (gasp!) the other day and found these – at about one third of the original price:
Made in USA, Horween Leather, though nothing more specific…
I could make some fit pics as soon as I receive the shoehorn I ordered on Amazon. These are impossible to pull on without a shoehorn;-) -
Turns out they're almost impossible to pull on even WITH a shoehorn…
Temporarily lining the instep region with some thin plastic foil (a trashcan liner, actually) did the trick by reducing the friction between the rough leather and my socks. After my feet had slipped inside, I removed the plastic...

All these talk about pre-mature wear & prospect of an early re-soling [in the other forums] prodded me to snap a couple of shots of my commandos.
Reason why I don't think much about [it] … Trickers Matrons= 5yrs; Vibergs= 2yrs & unworn [from the NYC sample sale] :: Maltons need a re-heel & Loden Green boots re-heeled last week__ both commando sole stitches holding out valiantly … not even a single stitch breakage
RedBrick Dainite on Trickers Allan @1yr= approx no more than 3mos of wear__ stitches @sides & tips already wearing in.
Profile-wise: Commando vs Dainite__ similar, cuz the raised grips on the Commandos are indented from the sole edges.
