Catch of the day [Fishing]

For big hooks, I always use BKK. They are the strongest that I know of, apart from a super rare Japanese artisan maker…

For smaller lures, I use VMC 7237
or these Cox and Rawle...

@Matty123 just remember that Largemouth bass is the king in the U.S. and the most sought after record fish. In Minnesota walleye is the most famous, but bass is still my favorite.
22" and around 6lb (no scale). I know this isn't your giant ocean fish, but these are great fighters on the right equipment.
till my favorite.

Very nice.

Oh yeah. I’m part of the large mouth bass club. I just prefer salt water….and what’s in my backyard ATM. Nice fish

Considerably smaller but also from Minnesota.
Root river near Lanesboro. Anywhere near your Jordan?

I'm in Carver county in the west metro. Lanesboro is south of me (about 2 hours) near Rochester.

That's what I keep telling Paula, she won't listen. So, I put this outside the room this morning…..(I don't think she's seen it yet)......That'll hold a few rods
Mmm… despite the fact that I walk past it every time I do some laundry... ::)
or a body… ???
Anyone wanna hazard a guess at whose body might well end up in it…?

All that pent up anger and frustration the last couple of months.
Those poor unsuspecting fish have no idea what's coming their way on Wed -

How does that go?

I've lived here for about 15 years, yesterday was the first time I have started to explore the many creeks we have…I'm thinking that there may be some excellent Bass fishing in them in the coming weeks.
Today, I am off for an early morning Tope (type of shark) session from the beach about 20 miles away…
