Funny story how I got the Lard record. My first internship abroad was 1992 at the Maudsley in London. Wanted to a have look at Alternativ Tentacle's London office. So, what you had was the address from the back side of a record cover and an AtoZ (the London map in book format). Went far out in the North of the city and walked ages to their office. Found them actually open, bought the record and a tee with the cover foto printed on the front. That tee was a major outfit of me in the 90s. No internet, no pictures ahead. Just a nice little adventure in a foreign city. Kids can't have that anymore nowadays.

@chap Cool album but that LP12 - wow!! Prompted me to put the Blue Nile's Rooftops on for my morning listen!

@Chap The perfect partnership 41 years a go! One of my all time favourite albums.

Talk about a heavyweight line-up.
This is definitely UHW @J-IV
My love for Herbie Hancock starts ten years later, so it’s always a pleasure to hear the early stuff!
My last post was some Kraut from ‚Embryo‘ whom I never heard live.
‚Dissidenten‘ are a later split group of them, who played world music and I could see several times.
This is their first album, recorded in India with local artists.
As this is second hand, someone burned the connection on the top left ;-).
Dissidenten - GermanistanDefinitely niche stuff but later on they traveled the world musically. Worth to take a look.
