IHM-37-ODG - Oiled Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Olive Drab Green

Warehouse work fitment pics . I’m 5’8 145lbs and went with a small. Wear a medium UHF. Fits real good with just a shirt but surprisingly still feels good with a heavy hoodie under too. Only get better with some wear

Nice fit, man! Should be able to get some quick break in working in the warehouse!

@Monk thanks man killer fit on yours! Sleeves are a bit long but I’m gonna go with it

This sucks…. Literally just got the regular olive n1 from Iron Shop Provisions and then seen this. Looks so much more sleeker without the stitching for the pockets. Bummmer.
Which is why we expose the full collection in advance on IG and in the dedicated seasonal collection thread, that way people can make informed decisions on how they spend…..
Thank you guys for doing that but it’s still so hard to decide lol. I think the regular one is great as is. This one is nice as well. I could exchange it at Irom Shop but it’s not that serious. I looked through the paper catalog that came with the IHSH 315 I ordered from you guys but Colorado is getting hit with some snow early so hurried and got the regular N1 on the Black Friday sale so it’s a even bigger W. I’m thinking about getting the khaki n1 vest but maybe I’ll hope and pray you guys will release those again but designed like the waxed N1….

Question… for those who have owned an N1 deck jacket and put it hard to work daily, does the alpaca lining tend to mat down or flatten leaving a bit more room inside? I would imagine it does. If so, any input on how long this could take with daily wear?
Mine is a bit tight in my chest and gut area (dad bod, beer belly, same difference IMO), but i know if i went up a size, it would be too big for my liking.
I absolutely love this thing! A beast.

Got mine today, from Berkeley Supply. Bought it in Large and that was a perfect choice. This jacket is great. For sizing comparisons, I'm an American sized non-slim medium, wear a large UHF, and an XL (42) in the Type 3 Modified and the Storm Rider jackets. Large fits me great, over a UHF, and sleeve and shoulders are perfect. Jacket is just absolutely excellent.

@Denimdaddysloth Might be worth trying a size up while it is new and you can. I've worn mine for a couple seasons and it is pretty much the same. You might also find that one size up works because of the inner storm cuff that holds the sleeves off the wrist.

This is an awesome cool jacket!
Supermaterials
I would really like to have the same cool warm jacket, made of the same materials, but longer.
In such a short jacket, you can only drive a car or walk when it is not very cold and windy.
It is cold in Russia in winter and the optimal jacket length for the city is up to the middle of the thigh, like M65, but a little longer. It would be great if IH does something similar next winter!

They did a deck coat once, and it’s a cult classic for some—but was a poor seller at the time. Maybe try a post in WTB? https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=s55bhaokfjlo6m339nejrovhh4&topic=8265.0

The M-51 Parka is a great mid thigh coat with a lot of room for layering. I pop my primaloft vest under it and I’m golden.

Better to have them a hair too long than too short for a winter coat IMO.

I agree , more wear I get they are seeming to set in a bit which is awesome. I couldn’t be happier with the fit

I am these same sizes and picked up a large as well! What is your height and weight if you don't mind my asking?
-
6’0” and 180lbs. 18” shoulders exactly and longish arms.

Been wearing this most days since I got it. Fit is great over a nice shetland sweater. Denim is the 21oz IH 1955 cuts. Shoes are my ll bean rubber mocs, which folks anywhere outside of the Northeastern US will probably roll their eyes at.

Just received mine today, but sadly it's a bit too snug in the chest :(. Hopefully the Large won't be too big/boxy.
Bad news for me will hopefully be good news for one of you…if anybody's still in search of the elusive size Medium I'm going to be sending one back to Iron Shop Provisions.
Cheers!
