This happened yesterday! It was a Bucket list run for me and I’m super happy that it worked out! It was an amazing day circumnavigating Mt. Hood.
42 miles 10,000’ gain.

Fantastic achievement @Brock
Years ago, I was training for a 50 miler… day I was supposed to drive down, we had a record Texas snowfall (read as “we had snow in Texas, everyone freaked out) - so I never did it.
One of my biggest regrets -
Proud of you for sticking to it!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

my god @brock that is a grand feat.
My sister in law manages a catering company and sometimes the parties require a private chef on site. I am in charge of designing menus and executing these private chef's dinners. we do anything from crepe stands, to build your own taco bars for grad parties, to weddings on the lakeshore. The latter was one such party i worked this past Saturday.
Lake Minnetonka is by far the wealthiest area in the Midwest outside of Chicago and it oozes money. We had a wedding of 42 people who wanted lemon dill salmon and bacon wrapped beef tenderloin as options.
This was the kitchen I worked in. The woman of the house had me make the hour round trip drive 2 weeks ago so she could ask me not to set off the fire alarm.
it looks a bit chaotic as the wedding was outside and all of the catering equipment needed staging.
the bride and groom wanted both proteins.
back of the house
to give you an idea about the money in Minnetonka, this is the private residence being erected one house over
