Chinos take their name from the fabric they are made from. Chino cloth is a cotton twill originally developed for the military. This version of what is now a classic casual pant is made from 9oz Japanese selvedge chino cloth. Iron Heart offers a number of different chino pants, this is our relaxed tapered or '888' cut with a little more room in the top block.

Relaxed-Tapered Chinos Cut

- Medium / High rise

- Relaxed fit in the top block and thighs

- Pronounced taper from knee to hem
- 4-pocket design with additional coin pouch

9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton

- Cold mercerised 9oz Japanese Selvedge cotton chino cloth
- Reactive dyed so little, if any fading

Hardware & Construction

- Universal zipper fly

- Iron Heart branded tack button at waistband

- Heavy-duty copper snap fastening on left rear pocket

- Poly/cotton stitching for increased strength

- Single and double needle stitch construction

- Belt loops anchored at three points and sewn into the waistband
- Heavy twill pocket bags

Item Condition

Nearly-New & Hemmed

- These RELOVED pants are in nearly-new condition. However, they have been hemmed and lightly worn for photography purposes
- PLEASE NOTE: THIS ITEM IS NON-RETURNABLE

One-Washed

- Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

Stretch Details

- This fabric is not expected to stretch significantly at the waist or in other areas

Care Guidelines

- We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
