@Plant-Life I can understand the sentiment of it being “unwearable”. It for sure is a tough jacket. But I’ve been finding that the more I wear it, with the lighter the wax has gotten and it’s now formed to my body shape, it’s gotten much easier to wear. Still not the easiest for putting on a backpack as @chadstone30 mentioned. I have trouble getting my work vest on and off with a Wills on. But as for just wearing it around, I enjoy it more and more each time I put it on. A lighter weight fabric is probably better for overall movement though.

@chadstone30 The Grey version is lighter wax/weight sounds much better. Wish that had been an option when I got mine. I have a Medium V2 which I received in 2023.
@Danimal506 Thanks for the reply. I'd imagine it does soften up a but after a lot of wear. I just haven't been able to deal with wearing it enough to get to that point. There isn't a lot of good seasonal weather here in New York for it. It's usually too cold for it. It doesn't retain heat so it's not warm ( and I can't layer much ) but it's too thick for weather that isn't cold. I'm thinking of selling it.

@Plant-Life If your are considering selling it, please do so in the IH marketplace per our forum rules. Many sellers (and buyers) have had great transactions here.

@goosehd Will do- thanks.
-
@Plant-Life that's funny I'm in Brooklyn too
-
@chadstone30 Oh yeah? I have yet to see anyone in NYC wearing one, which is kinda surprising.
-
Look for a green one and a grey one on the A train.
-
@chadstone30 Haha

@Plant-Life It was pretty chilly in NYC tonight.Where are you located? Saw your post that you’re in Bklyn.after I posted.

@Jett129 Yeah definitely chilly. BTW I didn't mean it wasn't cold here ( not sure if my post was clear) , I meant it's too cold in NYC to wear the Wills jacket for a good part of the year. I'm in Brooklyn on the west side of Prospect Park.
