Very, very nice @DStauffer. Great job. Really looking forward to seeing them on foot.

Ok it’s been a while since I’ve checked in , but had to share that both my custom pairs have come in and I couldn’t be happier. You say , why two pair? Well because I’m truelly a sicko and once I saw the knuckle dragger green horween from S and S, i just had to have them . made the call to Neil and he hooked it up. Mind you this is right after I just put in an order with Kyle at bakers. Both guys are awesome to deal with, and both went the extra mile to make a customer happy. Love this site and this forum … its nice to know that I’m not alone in this world....

I wanted to wait till they got here but Chris over at Wesco sent me this pic and I had to share with someone (my wife couldn’t care less ::))
Custom Warren in burlap roughout with a heel inspired by TBWE-PO….I think this may be my regular boot for a very, very long time.
Nice boots but what's the "Warren", then? Packer with a… Boss toe? Do I spy a 1/4" raised heel?

@Crit_Obs Its a packer with Wesco's bump toe (same toe as with the TBWE-PO). I was told its a #9109 shoe last). Its named after Chris Warren (he's tagged above), the main man over at Wesco. He is a super cool guy and really held my hand throughout this process. I have owned Nick's, White's, Vibergs, and RWs and Wesco's has been the best in terms of customer service, quality, and build time. I am a true convert.
I did add the extra lift. I usually prefer that, but we will see with these how it looks…I may have overdone it with the shortened rubber heel.
@jdl1279 has a pair too and has posted a bunch of pictures around here and on IG

Here soon…...
I’m really loving the look of the British tan leather. Do you guys know if the British tan is a permanent leather for Wesco or is it only a limited thing around the anniversary? I’ve been debating between British tan or the new chestnut brown I’ve seen pics of.
-
@spacecadet I don't know and I wish I did. It's a bit frustrating the lack of info on available leathers from Wesco's website. If anyone in the know could supply a list I'd be a happy man.

I’ve resolved myself to make burlap roughout my next pair. Very nice.
@Dstauffer did you go custom lasted or just use stock sizing?
-
@tvenuto I bit the bullet and went custom. I figured I was already spending a chunk of change, what was a little bit more to have a custom fit and then have Wesco keep it on file for any future builds.
My boots fit great and I haven't needed to use any cushion inserts. I've been wearing them since they came last Tuesday and have had no foot pain whatsoever.

I was thinking the same thing. I should probably get them started sooner rather than later or I’ll find myself using the same reasoning on their rush fee as well.

I have my eye on the olive burlap Morrisons that just hit the outlet, I’m hoping to get some guidance on sizing. I’m an 11.5 D in most sneakers (Vans, PF Flyers, etc) and 10.5 D or 11 D in most boots (10.5 in Iron Ranger, 11 in most Chippewas). Should I go for 10.5 D or 11 D in the Morrison?
-
I'm an 11 in both PF Flyers and Wesco; never owned Vans or Chippewa. I'd say try the 11, since I'm fairly certain the 10.5 would be too small.
-
I’m a 10 in vans and a 10d in wesco

I count myself lucky that I don’t have an Easy to fit foot. I’d have to
Have a custom last to be sure about my size in wescos and that stops impulse buys.. well
All wesco Buys to be honest… I wish there was a place around here try on a few sizes.
