16oz SBG CPO thanks G.

Nope sorry - it's a collab, not our place to divulge….
OK, thanks anyway. I'm curious to see what you come up with. My heart longs for a Type III with a blanket lining and a corduroy collar - I love my IH-101J-SR, but a type III with similar features would be amazing.

How about this instead (not blanket lined, but still)

Alex, thanks for your reply. The new 533 is already on my radar - it looks amazing! I'm really excited for those to come out, and as long as the sizing works out, I plan on grabbing one! I was lamenting that I'd missed the original 533's, and lo and behold, I saw you were working on a new version.
In light of that jacket, perhaps I'm asking for too much of the same thing, but a blanket lining works over a wide range of temperatures here in Oregon, and the corduroy collar feels warmer on the neck on cold days. (For that matter, a sherpa collar on a sherpa jacket is a functional feature on really cold days, but I love the look of the corduroy collar on the sherpa jacket, so you'll hear no complaints from me!)

I dig that herringbone!

I can't say too much. But H is completely rethinking raw denim and how to make it. I know some of the details, but he won't even let me send samples to retailers in case it falls into the wrong hands.
What I can say, is that it will be raw in the purest sense, no sanforizing, no washing, no singeing, no skewing, no nada….
But it will be over-engineered and over-designed in every sense.
H still rethinking?

1. Olive serge workshirt looks amazing!
2. Lined type III with the corduroy collar still looks amazing and looks better every time I see pics of it. Can't wait for that.
3. If the shirt openings are getting more narrow I am all for it….and I'm speaking specifically work shirts though not westerns.
One thing that I could criticize about some of the IH work shirts in the past was that they would tend to almost have a bell shape to them going from the waist to the bottom opening. The ratio of the waist measurement to the bottom opening measurement would be too large IMO and would flare out at the bottom. It was most noticeable on the chambray work shirts. However I have noticed that this is virtually non existent on work shirts now as they seem to be much more straight going down from waist to bottom opening. It looks like this trend is continuing judging by the olive serge work shirt pic.
I am all for it....keep the bottom openings more narrow with less of a flare/bellbottom look.

And for those of you who have been paying attention, this is not instead of, but as well as, the new raw denim H is working on…
So just to be clear this is the return of the OG UHR?

Shinyaka, new raw, and uhr are three different new lines? What's the general/possible release for the last two (now we know the stretch is coming this spring)?
