Unpopular opinions

I agree 100%. I also hate when the different fits all look the exact-fecking-same-skinny-jegging fit.
That's why I get annoyed when someone asks "I'm a 34 in IH-666S, should I get 33 in IH-634S for the same fit".
AAAAARRRRHHHHHGGGGGG. They were lovingly and painstakingly designed over months to be different cuts.
FFS - Roll with it….
I think I might be an offender, asking similar questions. My sincere and humble apologies, Giles and rest.
Actually, it appears that my outspokeness about likes and dislikes is a turnoff to a majority of the people here. So I apologize for that, too. I sincerely don't meant to be a prick.

I was not actually pointing the finger at anyone and it's up to you what you do with your stuff, It's your stuff after all. I was just stating my view which has no more validity than anyone elses.
Outspokenness is good and I certainly can't think of anything that you have posted which has been offensive or annoying - and I read every post (except in the buying and selling section) on this forum…
So keep it up....

Perfect place for that opinion. Really? Is that based on the blue? The fit and color on the green 86 is damn near perfect IMO.

Get ready for the BOOM!!
Most American sports are either softened versions of English sports, or dressed up versions of girls sports ???
Rugby –------> NFL
Netball ---------> Basketball
Rounders -------> Baseball
Soccer…an insanely large field, and it may be me, but the ads on the shirts are effin awful except for the Bimbos. Any guy that will wear a shirt that says Bimbo is a mensch.

I think we should stop breeding and go extinct… as a species.
-
I have no problem with human extinction. Let's not pretend we're all that special in the grand scheme of the universe. I read somewhere recently that the nearest galaxy like ours, is 2,000,000 light years away. Space is so big. We are so small. Human extinction wouldn't matter.
-
In the grand scheme of things nothing matters.
Outside of the grand scheme things human extinction would matter to me. Why I'd take it personally, being a human and all.

Mother nature is trying to speed that process up . Mind you , we are doing a fairly competent job on that ourselves .
Horrible news story locally here , police found an abandoned car on a rural road and there was a dead 8 yr old girl in the boot (trunk) . mother was arrested later and charged with murder .Stories like that make me ashamed to be part of the human race …

Meh… I'm a human too, but I don't feel self important enough to really care. I love being a human, but our it's in our nature to destroy everything around us, including ourselves. We do see, create, and cherish beautiful things, but we also consume, build, and destroy.
-
Well there's the primary question in my view. Despite our reckless consumption, destruction and wanton acts of horror what's the point in embracing the more noble essence of humanity and being human? For me it's about perspective and not really about self importance at all. I don't view humanity as perched atop the tree of life, silverback alpha species smugly gurning on. We're all here, who knows how the hell it happened and the random series of events the led up to it and Berman might ask if you knew what it took to get here would you have chosen to? Fuck yeah. Why? Because right now I occupy the present and grand scheme aside the present is all that matters right now to everybody. I do believe, schmaltziness aside, that if my existence is a positive one and my acts insofar as I try are positive towards my fellow man then that's enough.
Nothing matters in the grand scheme. Man's inhumanity to man. The dog shit on the footpath. Global warming. Busted coffee machine. Blisters on my fingers. Nothing. Surely then that makes everything more meaningful?

You pop the cork on the whiskey bottle and I'll let this man do some talking. Says it better than I ever could….

I think life and the ability to comprehend it are precious gifts that are exceedingly rare in the infinite multiverse. While our existence might be meaningless on a universal scale, in the only scale that matters it's all we have.

It's not only all we have. We are here. We should make the most of it. Before we all know it, species or not, we individually will all be dead anyhow. Time passes by swiftly. Cherish the fact you are here, make the most of your finite time. It's all meaningless cosmically, so you may as well make and do the most of it at an individual level. The chance will never arrive again, there will never be another you, so may as well, there's nothing to lose!

Agreed!

Well done lads , talk about grabbing the bull by the horns and jumping on and riding the irate bugger into the onslaught of ideas gate ! On a final note , when you have kids reading about harm being done to other kids of any age , becomes news you want to avoid .
We are here now so enjoy it and treat others as you wish to be treated - focus on what really matters and all else is just background noise . Time to focus on that raspy feeling in my throat and quaff an ice cold Czech beer with my salmon thai curry dinner .
