IHG-29 - Iron Heart Engineer Socks
-
I have me some fat calves (18" in diameter) and wondering if the socks would be uncomfortable due to this?
for sure diameter, not (calf) circumference?

Well, I told you I had fat calves…
But you're right, I ment the circumference ::)

No matter, i´ve got also thick calves, around 16"… I ride my bicycle too often, but i´ve heard women didn´t love legs like toothpicks ::)
-
…you know what they say about men with big calves...

You won't get calves from cycling! …but unfortunately big thighs which makes it nearly impossible to wear slimmish jeans.[emoji1]
Enjoy ya addiction!

@BULLITT BEE I just tried them on and found them a bit snug around my 17" calves. I personally would go with the shorter work boot version. I have pretty wide feet and wear size US11 in boots but liked the rest of the fit (which is usually not the case for me with 'one size only' socks).
@Winchy finds them just right on his 15" calves! -
Thanks for looking into this Axel! I would go for the 20cm socks myself, but some instances I need something taller and wanted to get Iron Heart if possible.
Hm, decision time…

@BULLITT BEE Chup Socks in L are perfect for me, but not sure if that will be high enough for you..
-
Thanks for the tip Axel, but thinking I might give it a go with the IHG-29 socks. Will know soon enough if I made the right choice

Mine's got the W on both sides.
EDIT: I have the black socks, but would presume the W is the same for the grey version.
By the way Giles, are the socks supposed to be called "Engineering Socks" and not "EngineeSocks" in the thread title?
