I'm still in for Saturday with a +1. We might get there closer to 7.

If you mean me, right at 6 PM. I was on my way somewhere and didn't bother trying to get in. It's possible that there was an event there or a large party taking up much of the venue. FWIW, it appeared to be much less busy when I walked past on Sunday around the same time. Still busy, but not packed, and no line waiting to get in.

I reconnoitered Frankford Hall on Saturday at around 6 PM, and it was crazy busy. There was a line out the door of people waiting to get in. I'd say if it's easy enough to reserve a table it'll be fine - maybe a little loud, not so easy to get a shuffleboard court or whatever - but without a reservation it might not be a great venue.

Awesome, I'm down for Frankford Hall Saturday night, likely bringing my girlfriend along. It's a great spot (can get a little crowded at times, though).
A Philly meetup?? I didn't think there were enough of us to facilitate a meet! I oh so rarely spot a selvedge stripe or decent flannel but maybe I'm not looking in the right place! So what are we thinking for said meetup?? I live just outside the city in West Chester but I work downtown-its a quick hop. While not much of a drinker myself, Victory Brewing is out by me and merits a visit for sure…

I'd say Philly is upping its game recently in terms of selvedge fandom and style in general. I live a little outside the Fishtown neighborhood, and I'd say I see a fair number of selvedge cuffs worn over workboots.
I usually don't get outside of Philly proper that often, but I'd defer to forum regulars regarding location.
Yes Notwithit, it is difficult to put things in and take them out, but they are reinforced!
Thanks, that's very helpful.
Now the agonizing question and subsequent soul-searching for an answer that can only be found within:
I like a slimmer leg opening, but I don't want to sacrifice the functionality of the front pockets. Right now I'm leaning toward the 634s and seeing if Railcar Fine Goods can taper them to < 7.5" (sacrilege, I realize, but perhaps the compromise I'm looking for).
I've never worn any of your comparison jeans. I started to break in a pair of 666 XHSs in W32 2 weeks ago tomorrow. They were very tight indeed at first (the thigh and hip in particular) but have stretched a bit. After 1 week I sprayed them with a bit of water while wearing them and wore them until they dried, but haven't soaked them. My Size W34 stretched a bit too much for my liking after 2 weeks solid wear. After 2 weeks I thoroughly wetted them (but did not soak) them. Their fit is OK but rather loose round the waist and the fly is a bit too high. The thighs are quite a close fit. I also have 634 XHSs in W32 and they are a nice good tight fit but not tight in the thigh or hip. My size W31 1955UHRs, not yet much worn, have more room in the thigh and hip.
I don't know if that helps at all?
Thanks, that helps quite a bit. Are the front pockets on the 666s difficult to use? That's usually my sticking point when it comes to jeans that are particularly slim through the hips.
Apologies for the obnoxious question - I couldn't figure out how to search within the thread - can anyone compare the sizing on these (particularly the waist) to the sizing on Samurai 710s (19 oz, lot 13 if it makes a difference). I was hoping to gauge people's experiences in addition to comparing the measurements on the web site.
I'm also open to comparisons to the raws in any of the following. I'm well aware that I have too many pairs.
SExSC06
SExDBxSxS12
APC NS/PNS
Nudie Regular Alf
Blue Owl x Triple Works tapered fit
Dior 19cm MiJ
N&F Weird Guy
W+H straight fit
Sugar Cane 1966 one-wash
My take is that APCs and Nudies are vanity-sized by two; Dior 19cm, N&F WG, and W+H are all vanity sized by one (although the waist is a little loose in all cases); and the rest are basically TTS (although the waist is loose on the SExDBs).
Thanks in advance.
