RE: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
Got legally married back in January, but just now exchanged rings with family and friends. Our friends made a really cool ceremony where they asked guests to write hopes and wishes on paper, which then were burned with a zippo that Chicken delivered, and then we covered our ring fingers in the ashes before the rings went on. We did the party at my wife's mom's house in the countryside, ate traditional ham cooked in hay and bread, I sang the old American folk song 'Been all around this world' to kick off the dance party under stretch tents with a view of the Valley de la Cère with two great DJ's, and couldn't help but notice all the smiles. Pretty grateful now.

Borrowed a friend's B15 for a dog walk while thinking of Martin Luther King Jr's wise words that the 'arc of history is long and bends toward justice'

RE: IHWE-MRLOU-BLK - Wesco® - 10" Horsehide Pull-On "Mister Lou" Engineer Boot - Black
They look really good. Could also try Bick4 to condition without causing any change in colour.

RE: IHV-22 - Alpaca Lined Whipcord N1 Vest - Olive, Navy, Grey & Khaki
@jordanscollected yep spot clean as Graham says is best unless you want shrinkage and marbling, both of which can be desirable.

RE: Runners
@goosehd all your ideas sound great to me. Lots of the pros spend significant periods of the off season cross training, sometimes with no running: Jim Walmsley, Sophia Laukli, and Remi Bonnet seem to all give up running completely in the winter and just do skimo. Others bike. Lots of coaches are pushing more and heavier strength training for running, twice or more a week. In an ideal world the off season would also be a good time to focus on the non-training lifestyle habits that could make big gains such as diet and sleep, but for me at least those things are 100 times harder than going for a run.

RE: Gosport (UK)
@nickname a friend just arrived today to Portsmouth from Heathrow and took a national express coach and said it was easy, took an hour and a half and less than £20. Worth checking out as the bus station is next to the ferry to Gosport and then just a fifteen min walk to IHUK.
