As always @sabergirl is dead right, @2d you wouldn’t want the waist of overalls to fit as they would on a pair of jeans because they are kept up my shoulder straps rather than grabbing your waist. I wear a 36 in the 634 and 888 cuts and have a 36 in the 805, it’s a reasonably relaxed fit without being too baggy, which is exactly what I want from them. I’d suggest if you wear a slimmer cut in jeans you’d want to size down
I’d say that would depend on how you want them to fit. Look at the thigh and knee measurements to see how loose or tight tts or a size down will be. They’re supposed to be cut roomy, so I think most folks go true-to-size, and some brave souls size down. I wouldn’t even think of sizing down because of the thigh. That’s going to be your key measurement, as waist won’t tell you much. It just sits in a totally different place than jeans, so is hard to compare.
