RE: Random Announcements
Thirteen consecutive years on the IH Forum as of today. While the cast of characters has changed, over the years, the vibe on The Forum has not. As time goes on I appreciate it more and more.

RE: Samples - New Products We Are Working On
Over the years, from time to time,Forum Members have gotten IH gear to wear/fade and document. While there have been quite a few who did really great jobs at fading,I don’t think anyone has done as good a job at documenting as @Oaktavia. Being an artist he has an innate sense of composition, and it shows whenever he posts updates on his progress. Also his willingness to answer, and be knowledgeable about every aspect of the process, has substantially raised the bar of IH Sample fading. The other guy whose name I can’t totally remember, and who did a really great job, might have been a landscaper or something like that. He worked outside spitfiredealer I think was his username.

RE: American Football (NFL)
Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season is in the books and 13 would not turn out to be the unlucky week for @IrishHeart and @Mizmazzle. It started on Thursday Lions/Bears division rivals, the annual Thanksgiving game in the Motor City. Down to the wire,30 seconds left on the clock,Da Bears need a field goal to send it in to overtime, but the coach doesn’t call a timeout, they run out of time, the coach is now out of a job,but the most important thing is that IrishHeart picks up an unbelievable ninth straight win. On to Monday, the last game of the week. Mizmazzle knows that the Lions won and if The Broncos lose IrishHeart will be the Lone Survivor. The pressure is on,the socks are out,the bourbon is out,and it’s on. The Browns with nothing to play for fought tooth and nail, but it seemed like in the end the altitude got to Jameis Winston as he kept on throwing the ball to Denver’s defenders, who were only to happy to catch it and run the other way with it. I’m watching the game and it was tight, exciting, and depending on the outcome what was I going to write. Best case scenario as Mizmazzle also gets his ninth straight win,and the battle continues, both players with brilliant strategies head into Week 14,seeking their 10th straight win. I’m out of superlatives on how impressed we all are with how well you’ve both done. I told you this was going to be more exciting than the Tyson/Paul fight. Back to football on Thursday,Sunday and Monday. Signing off from Cranford,NJ. See ya next week.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
IH Purple has been sort of a staple, and usually pretty popular. Has that color ever been discussed or thought about in the thermals and knits/sweats categories?

RE: Motorcycles
@Denimhead-0 Would you ever consider getting a windshield? I used to ride all winter long with the Motorcycle Polar Bears. A lot of the guys had heated gear, which they loved. I found that a scarf was a big help, and I always thought that the most important thing was to keep your chest warm. The school of thought was that if your chest was warm more blood would get to your extremities. Not sure if that’s true. Still no way I could’ve done it without a windshield.

RE: Grilling, Smoking, BBQ, etc. WAYCT (What Are You Cooking Today) Outdoor Edition
I was a little bit disappointed in how the turkey came out. It was pretty cold and windy and I allowed for a longer cooking time, but it cooked a little bit faster than I had anticipated, maybe due to the wind. While there were some parts, like the dark meat that were tender, moist and delicious, there were some parts of the breast that were too dry. I probably could’ve taken it off and wrapped it at 155 instead of 165. Fortunately the appetizer and side dishes were great. Try again next year.

RE: Hard Drinkers, Lets Drink Hard (Spirits, Liquors and Cocktails)
@scooter One of my all time favorites. There was a point in time when, every year,my local liquor store would get their own barrel of Eagle Rare and were selling it for $34.99. I felt like I was stealing.
