Looks like the best measurements for an IH Jacket for me so far,but I’m waiting/hoping for the corduroy jacket also in black, and can’t get both. There are 3 in my size. Are retailers getting these? Best case scenario is the corduroy jacket fits me and I’m a happy camper, worst case-I miss out on this and the corduroy jacket doesn’t measure up as good.

I wish it was that easy. While there are a few companies that make really cool high end denim, no one, in my opinion, has ever done corduroy like IH. This is based on my IH-161 corduroy western shirt, which blows my mind every time I wear it. Definitely regret missing out on the jeans when they were available, but that was early on in my IH adventure, when I didn’t realize that ,like dinosaurs,IH items become extinct. I also have a really cool vintage black Levi’s trucker that I still wear.

Copped one today courtesy of the guys at Rivet and Hide. Damn good fit straight off the hanger. Hopefully I'll get a few fit pics this weekend

Well, I've not done this for a while… I saw the email, I logged on to the site, I checked the relevant measurements (which for me boil down to shoulder width and sleeve length) and I ordered. Then I remembered I hadn't checked my bank account beforehand. Then I remembered about the bloody 4 day weekend...
However it all came good earlier today:
There will be more (not necessarily better) photos in the relevant threads on Thursday. For now a few quick impressions. I've always liked type IIIs, but I always felt the lack of pockets in the British climate. I also really like the Superblack denim. So this was perfect. Having worn it for all of 40 minutes it is my new favourite jacket. It fits how I want it to and I can still access my back pockets easily. As is always the case another really good jacket from Iron Heart - how's that for a ringing endorsement eh?
Fake edit: I just previewed the post, I say this with no false modesty - the photo is up there with some of my best. I blame my trusty iPhone 4 and the lighting at work… ::)

Hey, @Morose_Penguin, welcome back! Bad pics are better than no pics. Enjoy the jacket.

Thanks, I'm really liking it so far. One button is quite stiff at the moment, but the rest are fine. Speaking of photos…
There were many more taken, but once I saw them - well these are the current 'best" of an extremely suspect bunch.
