I think Lando has a pair. Have to ask him to post some pics here…..

his slim cut looks spot on for me.. too bad I couldn't justify another pair of jeans haha
-
I had been waiting to hear some news regarding this. Nice to see more will be available. I really would like a pair of the straight legs!
-
Saw my first pair at SELA. I'm going to hook up with Kiya at SESF and have a ridiculously long pair made–like a 48" or 50" inseam (122-127 cm) for a final stacked length of 45-47 after soaking. I saw the vid (above) and dug it all. I think I may have an even thicker piece for the patch.

No, Beats. First of all, the longest inseam is a 40"–which is too short. Also, the "rack" doesn't accommodate them anyway! No, I've been searching out customs for many years, thus my utter joy at hooking up with Haraki and Will via Giles.

thanks for the heads up,beatle.
seeing one man making a jeans from basically nothing was fascinating to see.
you rarely see craftmanship like this nowadays…. -
I had seen a video of Roy Slaper making a pair some weeks ago and was intrigued, captivated, hooked. I bought a pair yesterday from SE. I might not wear it often, being busy with my various IH's, but man, one HAS to support artists!
-
I sized down 1 size to 32 just to force myself to lose some love handles.
-
How'd you guys size?
TTS W32 for me. Could have gone with a W33 as the thighs are tight. Also please note that I have the Gen 1 Version which were the now RS1 - Straight Leg.
-
My pair arrived at my office while I was traveling to China. I went to the office yesterday and there they were. Beautiful fabric, great details. I love the very simple buttons, with no design at all. The cut is nice, a very credible answer to the Japanese!
Thank you, Mista Slappa!
I say support American craftmanship and quality manufacturing and buy yourself a pair of Roy's.

I'll take a pass on this because I've got too many IH's to wear already (301 are awesome, almost getting to the top of my list) and then the BB is coming soon, the 666, my overdyed 634SR supposed to come back from Japan any time soon, my new 634SR… I already decided NOT to get the DC collab model although I wanted to try it bad... And I still want to wear my PBJ's from time to time, my Okinawas, or even my Samurais'. So no, unfortunately no Roy contest for me... Shit I suddenly realize thats a lot of jeans!
